Cottages at the Neubempt Farm

Welcome to our home

First, our cottages are spacious, located in the heart of the countryside and close to shops and tourist centers such as Aachen, Herve, Aubel, Trois Bornes, Val Dieu…, the Ravel cycle path, nature reserves, forests, and walking trails. The use of organic materials and the nearby organic farm create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The large one (12 people or up to 17 if you combine the two cottages) is for families with children of all ages, sports or youth groups, small youth groups, scouts, etc.

The small one is separate from the large one but close (5 people, 2 of whom can be disabled), comfortable with a suite upstairs and a panoramic bay window in the living room.

The sandboxes, the farm, the countryside spaces and our welcome (we live 60 meters behind the cottages) allow everyone to find what they are looking for on vacation or for a family celebration.

Easily accessible by car, train-bus, bicycle (Ravel) or on foot (gr)

On weekends, the cottage is available until 10pm.

Ground floor.

The ground floor consists of an entrance hall, a living room with fireplace, TV, DVD, a dining room with a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cooker, oven, microwave..., a laundry room and a WC.

All this with access to a terrace with garden and children's play area in an enclosed property.

Possibility of barbecue and outdoor fire in a brazier.

 

First floor

The first floor consists of a first bedroom with a bunk bed and two single beds plus a sink, a second bedroom with a bunk bed and two single beds plus a sink, a bathroom with a bathtub, a shower room, a separate toilet and all the necessary baby equipment.

 

Second floor

The second floor consists of a first bedroom with two single beds and a second bedroom with a double bed and a superb view through a bull's-eye window.

Welcome to our guesthouse.

We built this cottage ourselves using natural materials (wood, straw and clay which makes it particularly warm).

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen-living room with a wide countryside view and a wood fire, all intersected by a magnificent staircase; a bedroom with 2 beds (which can be joined on request), a bathroom and a laundry room, all designed also for people with reduced mobility.

Upstairs, a spacious bedroom with a double bed plus a private bathroom and a mezzanine with a bed.

Outside, there is a lawn with deck chairs, a sandbox and a fire pit.

The organic farm is located 50 meters behind the cottage and you can buy milk, cheeses, puddings, yogurt, eggs and organic pasta produced on the farm.

In the surrounding area there are beautiful walks starting from the cottages, a nature reserve (1.5 km), museums (1 or 2).5 or 4 km) the three markers (5 km), Aachen, its historic center and its magnificent thermal baths (10 km), Aubel and its Sunday market (12 km), the High Fens (20 km), Maastricht (25 km)...
